SOKRATES® Communicator is NOT another email client, but it helps you to get the best out of your own. SOKRATES® becomes the front-end interface for your email client by enhancing its functionality by far!

• Email User Interface: Send, (automatically) receive and read your emails directly in SOKRATES® Communicator without having to switch to your email client.
• The Project Dimension: Use the multidimensional view to view your emails not only in the "traditional" historical list, but also in a contact or in a project. SOKRATES® therefore adds a new "project" dimension to your email client! It even assigns emails automatically.
• Team Collaboration: The list of emails per project or contact is not limited to emails of one single user: All emails of your team are shown. And it is enhanced by all phone call notes and documents, which gives every information you need to successfully communicate whith your contacts.
• Central Email Repository: All emails are copied into the centralized database. Therefore you have direct access to all emails from any computer in the internet, and you can see project- or contact-related emails of your team members even without having access to their email-mailboxes!

• Email Templates For All: SOKRATES® holds any number of private or public email templates you can use to quickly write perfect standardized emails
• Keep Control! It can be hard to keep track of all the emails you have to read, to answer and are planning to write. SOKRATES® Communicator is assisting you: Just plan and schedule your emails-to-do, or assign them to other users.
• Synchronize With Email Client: SOKRATES® does not have to replace you existing installation of Microsoft® Outlook®: It is its perfect extension. Incoming and outgoing emails will be automatically synchronized between the two of them, or you can simply drag and drop emails from Outlook® to SOKRATES® to assign them in your contacts and projects.
• Pack & Send: Get rid of the annoying task of finding documents, compressing them (ZIP), adding them to an email and sending it away. This is all done automatically with just a few clicks without having to store any files!

To use the full email functionality of SOKRATES® Communicator, you need Microsoft® Outlook® 2003 or newer. Since SOKRATES® stores emails (including attachments) in its own database, it works equally well with or without an Exchange® Server by dropping its limitations.
